Hi, my name is Robert Milner, and I live near Bradford, England. Rob has been working in IT since 2003 and has gone through the full stack of infrastructure roles. L1/L2 support, consultant with technical pre-sales, infrastructure manager and now operations director! Rob has been through all layers and has an excellent understanding of how to run a successful MSP.

When Server 2008 was released, Rob was heavily involved with configuring and scripting Hyper-V deployments and carried on using Hyper-V with later versions of Windows in 2012, 2016 and 2019. Alongside deploying Hyper-V, Rob was also looking at the deployments of SANs like EqualLogic, Compellent and NetApp and blade technology like Cisco UCS.

These days, Rob primarily focuses on Azure along with a smattering of M365 and Intune. Rob has been involved with some pretty large Azure migrations for some customers. In one example he was involved with migrating 1,500 Virtual Machines from an on-premises VMware infrastructure to an Azure VMware Solution (AVS). Rob did a lot of research and documentation for the customer before the migration using the Cloud Adoption Framework and the Well-Architected Framework.
